Step 8: Front axle positioning

  Measuring off the frame rail is more accurate than the panhard bar bracket because some brackets are tweaked a little bit from accidents on the track.To position the front axle correctly, place tape against framerail and measure on an angle to center of panhard bar bolt at 12 3/4 for pavement. For dirt this measurement needs to be 13.

Once achieved, you are ready to square the front axle off of the rear axle as explained in steps 10 & 11.
